A brief introduction of the Carrollton Chinese Church
於二○○九年七月四日
1989年，阿靈頓華人教會看見佳樂頓地區華人福音需要的植堂異象，於當年差派了以陳愛光牧師為代表的一群肯為主擺上的弟兄姊妹，來到這裡開荒，建立了佳樂頓華人教會。
1989, Arlington Chinese Church see the need among the Chinese in the Carrollton vicinity, they call Pastor Ekron Chen and a group of dedicated brothers and sister to the area, the Carrollton Chinese Fellowship was established.
1995~1996年期間，神賜下建堂的異象，並且感動弟兄姊妹為主大發愛心，建立起今天的敬拜、禱告、團契、服事的聖殿。在這期間，神差派韋饒元牧師，與眾位弟兄姊妹一同完成了神所賜的建堂異象。
During the year 1995 to 1996, God given the church a vision to have their own facility. With the love toward God, the brothers and sisters built the temple which enable the brothers and sisters to worship, pray, fellowship, as well as serving one another. During this time, God sent Rev. Samuel Wei to lead our brothers and sisters to accomplish this monumental task.
1996~1999年期間，神藉著謝建邦牧師，幫助我們開始去思想、及建立了一個平衡的教會觀：就是教會不是單單一個外面的建築物，更加重要的是內裏靈命的建立。
From 1996-1999, through our pastor Rev. Stephen Hsieh, God help us to search and establish a proper view of church, He help us to go beyond the physical building of our church and help us to focus on the growth of our spiritual life.
1999~2002神藉著常思恩牧師在本會作代理牧師的期間，將教會行政管理的觀念提交到議事日程上來。並幫助教會起草了教會會章的初稿。並且神藉著他過去曾在北歐服事的經歷，引荐了王保羅牧師來本會服事至今，滿足了教會需要牧羊人的禱告。
From 1999-2002, through our interim pastor Rev. Albert Seung, God helps the church to establish a proper administrative concept, and through Pastor Seung, the chuch adopted its bylaw. Through his connection with the church in Europe, he introduced Pastor paul Wang to the church to serve the congregation until this day.
1996 至 2009年三月，神藉著寧思唐牧師還在達拉斯神學院就讀神學時，讓他看見在這裡有一群青少年需要牧養的異象。於是，開始參與、拓展青少年及英文事工。現今教會正在尋求神的心意，為青少年及英文事工尋找同工，繼續傳承神的計畫。寧牧師在2002至2004年擔任帶領牧師一職時，幫助教教會完成了過渡交接及奠基的階段。
From 1996 to 2009, while Pastor Laing was studying at the Dallas Theological Seminary, God led him to see the need of the youth in our church. With this calling, Pastor Laing faithfully served in the youth ministry until March of this year. Currently, our church is seeking the will of God to find the right minister to care for the youth in our church. Pastor Laing also help the church gone thru a transitional time from 2002 to 2004 as the lead pastor of the church.
隨後，神藉著不同的異象來帶領我們：
From then on, God used different vision to lead our church:
2004年：鑄造異象、2004: casting a vision
2005年：作主精兵、2005: Being a soldier of God
2006年：作主門徒、2006: Being a disciple of God
2007年：為主結果、2007: Bearing fruit for our God
2008年：靈命更新、2008: Renew in our spiritual life
2009年；不再一樣！2009: No longer the same!
相信每一位在基督裏與神同行的人都不難看見以上二十年神在我們教會裏留下的恩典痕跡，我們根據這些痕跡不難明白神的手將要在我們身上要做怎樣的工作。雖然我們不知明日要生何事，但有一點很清楚的，就是在2010年，神要帶領我們教會接受〝擴展疆界〞的挑戰！
I believe that it is easy for anybody of Christ to see the blessing of God in our church; it is not difficult for us to imagine how God will mold all of us in the future. Even though we do not know what will happen in the future, we certainly realized that God challenges us to expand our territory in the year 2020.
